This Privacy Policy applies to Wizdeo websites that link to it. It applies to products and services provided by Wizdeo through these websites and mobile applications

This Privacy Policy is divided into three parts:

Part I – Information Wizdeo collects and controls

This part deals with how Wizdeo collects and uses information about its registered users and website visitors , and those who contact Wizdeo through forms or email addresses published on or linked to our websites.

Part II – Information that Wizdeo processes on your behalf

This part deals with how Wizdeo handles proprietary data that you, as a brand or a creator, entrust to Wizdeo when you use our products and services or that you share while requesting customer support, and how Wizdeo handles public data that you authorized YouTube, Twitch platforms to display publicly and which they provide to Wizdeo along their terms of use.

1. INFORMATION WIZDEO COLLECTS AND CONTROLS

Wizdeo Analytics reserves the right to send newsletters and emails promoting our services to users and visitors who subscribed to the newsletter or provided their emails in order to be contacted. When receiving those, you have the possibility to “opt-out” directly from the email by following the instruction on the “unsubscribe” button. Emails relating to special communication on our services like changes in our Privacy policy for example are not submitted to an “opt-out” choice.

Commercial emails, such as those informing you of an update to the privacy policy, are not subject to the option to opt-out.

2. INFORMATION THAT WE PROCESS ON YOUR BEHALF

Definition of proprietary and public data

Proprietary data is information owned by an individual or organization, with access restricted to authorized users, for business or security reasons. It is protected by laws and contracts.
In contrast, public data is information freely available to the public and can be accessed, shared, and used by anyone without restrictions.

Brand Data

Wizdeo uses brand data to generate insights and forecasts on sponsorship transactions between creators and brands, by combining brand data with creator data.

Proprietary Brand Data

Proprietary brand data is, for each video sponsored by a brand, ROI and/or sales generated from links from the video to the brand’s website, and the price paid by the brand for the sponsored video. This data is provided by the data provider (brand) to Wizdeo either directly offline, or entered by the brand in Wizdeo’s tools.

Processing and displaying of brand data

Proprietary Brand data will be used only to generate insights for the brand which owns the data. Combined with the public creator data that we collect and process, those insights include forecasts of the profitability for a brand of a sponsorship, for any creator who has already worked with the brand, as well as for any creators whose audiences are close to a creator who has already worked with the brand. Therefore, they also include optimal pricing for the brand for a sponsored video with any of those creators. The Brand will therefore have access, for each creator tracked by Wizdeo, to proprietary dashboards, as well as proprietary lists of new profitable creators and creators to be renewed based on view fluctuations and pricing.

Public brand data, such as links and brand names, is used to detect any brand sponsored or affiliated videos on YouTube and Twitch. This data is processed and combined with the data processed from public creator data to estimate a brand’s YouTube and Twitch target audiences, budgets spent on each sponsored video, creators renewed or not renewed by a brand.
Public brand data and the insights processed from it are available on Wizdeo’s platforms and used by our employees for marketing and support, and by our users for creator sourcing, benchmarking, brand safety, negotiation, view risk assessment, and individual and market-wide insights. Public brand data may be used to create articles and newsletters that provide insights into the overall state of the YouTube influencer market.

Ownership and management of Brand data

Proprietary brand data : Each brand retains complete ownership of their proprietary brand data. We store it only if you specifically ask us to store it ( see above).
We protect it, limit its access only to the owner and Wizdeo employees, and process it only to present its owner the resulting information. Only the data owner can access it, share it through third-party integrations, and request exports or deletions. Under no circumstances will this data be shared with third parties, nor will any of the processed data be shared with third parties

Public brand data : public brand data is data in and around content uploaded by the owner in public mode under their terms of use, on YouTube and Twitch , and accessible to third-parties through APIs provided by the platforms. Public brand data may be displayed at the discretion of Wizdeo’s services. If a brand believes that any displayed data is inaccurate -such as when Wizdeo's algorithms mistakenly identify a video as sponsored by the brand - the brand may notify Wizdeo. In such cases, Wizdeo reserves the right to review and, if deemed appropriate, correct the displayed information.

Parties with whom we share Brand data

Proprietary brand data : we grant access to proprietary brand data only to confirmed brand users owners of the data, and to those of our employees engaged in providing the brand services, solely for the purpose of processing and utilizing such data to generate insights on optimal pricing and other processed data for the exclusive use of the data provider. We ensure that access to your proprietary data by our employees is limited to specific individuals, and such access is logged and audited. Our employees may also have access to data you voluntarily share with us for technical support purposes. We communicate our privacy and security policies to our employees and rigorously enforce privacy protections within Wizdeo. Our employees are obligated not to disclose the private data of Wizdeo's clients, and this obligation is formalized through contractual agreements with Wizdeo.

Public brand data : Public brand data is made available on Wizdeo’s platform, granting access to any user, whether internal or external. This includes, but is not limited to, other brands (including competitors), agencies, creators, organizations, companies, employees, and individuals.

Brand data retention policy

Proprietary brand data is accessible to both the data provider and Wizdeo employees indefinitely. However, should the data provider wish to remove their proprietary data from Wizdeo’s platform, they may request its removal by contacting their designated point of contact or by sending an email to privacy@wizdeo.com. Wizdeo shall have a period of 3 months to delete such data from all platforms and backups.

Public brand data will remain accessible on our platform as long as it is available on the platform where it is publicly displayed, but will be deleted on our platform whenever it is taken down on that platform.

Creator Data

Proprietary creator data

Creators, influencers and social network account managers can connect their channels on YouTube to our platform through Google authentication. By doing this, they can authorize our platforms (Wizdeo Analytics, Influencer Access and/or Wizapp) to use non-personal but private ( i.e. non visible to other users on social media) information on their account such as channel’s audience demographics and geography, YouTube revenues, Network affiliation, videos’ watchtime, video views’ traffic source, proprietary claims strikes and related information. This information is Proprietary Creator Data.

Wizdeo does not collect any data or any proprietary information about YouTuber’s deal with the brands such as negotiated pricing, agency they worked with, terms of payment….

Public creator data

Public creator data consists of creator information publicly displayed on YouTube and Twitch: videos and video metadata such as description, captions, number of views, comments, channels and channel metadata such as number of subscribers and channel description… We collect and process creator public data through APIs collecting public information from YouTube and Twitch.



Processing of Creator data

Proprietary creator data is used to create learning and training samples for our algorithms processing public creator data. It is also used to generate insights for the creators which authorized access to the data. Those insights can include programming optimization for example.

Public Creator data is processed in order to quantify and qualify creator’s audiences and content, with algorithms trained on private creator data. This data, and the processed data derived from it, are used for the purpose of analyzing the performance and characteristics of a creator channel and classifying it in comparison to other channels. Combined with brand data, proprietary or public, it is used to assist brands in sourcing channels for sponsored operations, and forecasting the profitability and pricing of such operations.

Ownership and management of Creator data

Proprietary Creator data is solely retained by those with access to the channel’s token, typically the channel owner, but may also include the manager or network to whom the Creator or channel owner has granted access. Furthermore, only Wizdeo employees have access to the Creator's proprietary data, along with third parties who are authorized to display this data, such as Google/YouTube. Under no circumstances shall this information be disclosed to any other third parties, nor shall it be used by Wizdeo employees for any purpose other than optimizing services for the data provider.

Public Creator data : public creator data is data in and around content uploaded by the owner in public mode under their terms of use, on YouTube and Twitch , and accessible to third-parties through APIs provided by the platforms. Public creator data may be displayed at the discretion of Wizdeo’s services.

We ensure that access to your proprietary data by our employees is restricted to designated individuals, and all access is logged and subject to audit. Our employees may also have access to any data you willingly share with us for technical support or to import data into our products or services. We communicate our privacy and security policies to our employees and enforce strict privacy measures within Wizdeo. Our employees are obligated not to disclose the private data of Wizdeo's clients, and this obligation is formalized through contractual agreements with Wizdeo.

Public Creator Data: Public creator data is accessible on Wizdeo’s platform, allowing any user, whether internal or external, to view it. This includes, but is not limited to, other creators, agencies, brands, organizations, companies, employees, and individuals.

Creator data retention policy

Proprietary creator data is accessible to both the data provider and Wizdeo employees without a time limit. However, if the data provider wishes to remove their proprietary data from Wizdeo’s platform, they may request its removal by reaching out to their designated point of contact or by emailing privacy@wizdeo.com.

Public creator data remains accessible on our platform as long as it is available on the platforme where it is publicly displayed, but will be deleted on our platform whenever it is taken down on that platform. This data will be updated regularly in accordance with the platforms’ update schedule. However, even if the relevant content remains available on the platforms, processed data derived from views ( view counts per day, inter alia) will be retained only for a maximum period of three years.

What about kids' rights ?

We recognize children's right to privacy and encourage parents and legal guardians to become actively involved in the online activities and interests of their children. Children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area) must not use the Services. If we learn that we have collected personal data about a child under the minimum age, we will take reasonable steps to remove them.

Parents who believe that Wizdeo Analytics may have collected personal data about a minor under the minimum age may send a request to remove the data via this page.

Security measures

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no system can be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

All our infrastructure is hosted on Google's Cloud services, and we therefore benefit from the security implemented by Google Cloud.
